Blekko – The New Search Engine [Video via TechCrunch]

Blekko is a different kind of search engine developed by Rick Skrenta and his team, blekko is very different with the existing search engines like Google, Bing.

To make blekko popular they didn’t just make just another search engine but brought lot of special options to users who use blekko, like api’s where in you can search for specific domain like say “gaming /talkonsomething.com” which searches about the games in TOS or “talkonsomething /twitter” which search tweets on talkonsomething.

Magic in .htaccess – URL rewriting

Do you know how this URL was created: http://twitter.com/talksomething well a magic was used on the Apache to clean up the URL in more simple way. We call it .htaccess (in Linux) and htaccess.txt (in windows). This htaccess contains some instruction to how Apache must work. Initially first Apache searches for this htaccess file and then continue to load your page or what ever.

Today i will be showing you few ways where in you can create a smart URL that is SEO friendly and also User friendly :)
