SMF (Simple Machines Forum) – An Open Source Forum Script

Well in the last posts i had talked about getting a free Vbulletin licenced download link , but that was warez , so now we talk about an open source script called SMF i.e. SIMPLE MACHINES FORUM. SMF is basically a forum script which has developed greatly in the following years since the time of its release. It can be easily customized according to one’s needs , unlike other paid scripts which is a bit harder to customize / edit as compared to SMF.

Vbulletin is one of the professional forum scripts which is widely used among us , as it has varieties of features & loads of addons. It even has a seperate Support , modifications site [click Here to Visit]. But the catch is that its not an open-source script like SMF or phpBB. Obviously if you want features you do have to pay for it . The Current Version of Vbulletin i.e. Vbulletin 3.8.4 costs 180 $ , which is at a higher rate..
