A Story from your Teeth

Imagination, creativity only gets into work for few people. And also happened for Inhae Renee Lee
Inhae Renee Lee says:
When I was young, I placed my baby teeth under my pillow and when i woke up I’d find a shiny new quarter. But whatever happened to those little teeth? Where did they go? Would I ever see them again?Many years later, a little tooth was standing at my door. It looked familiar. Its name was ickle. Welcome home, my milk toof!

But with this imagination Inhae Renee Lee created a comic strip kind that really funny and admiring. So i decided to add to my blog and show the great achievement you can actually make. :)

Google owns re-captcha

During your registration on a page. A box that ask you some letters which will shown on a pic that even you can’t understand correctly thats called CAPTCHA.

re-captcha as all know the anti spam sytem to protect from bots has been serving millions of sites from many years. The  reCAPTCHA started as a project of the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Its now set to go under Google’s blanket :P

Bing brings Visual search system

Bing already became very popular in its search platform competing the search engine leaders Google. Now there is always a tough competition between them. Well google is doing some busy stuff like launching Google Wave and Microsoft’s bing has launched a visual search.

Well Visual ? Ya you are right.. the new search system that can search visually.

What is it ? :
Visual search makes a new kind of search query that’s imaginary and groups them together for a more refine search result.

DigitalPoint Forums , commonly known as DP Forums among the users of the community.DP Forums is a Webmaster forum , where many people come & discuss their problems with  other members of the forum just like any other forum , but the thing is the traffic which DP gets per day is enormous unlike many sites.  So DP decided to integrate Google Analytics with their Forums to make it convenient for web site owners to check their Analytics Rankings without going to Google Analytics.

“You may know these people” – YouTube helps you to find friends

Yesterday the YouTube guys announced that they will be launching a new system that can suggest people you know on YouTube.

Well there will be a suggestion box which suggest people you might know ( well it may not be 100% sure) but it works like if you have your own channel or a gmail account then the system will gather few information and find people in those channels. Well you must be logged into youtube to make this feature work.

Automattic aquires “After the Deadline” – A spell checker plugin for wordpress

After the Deadline (ATD in short) is a natural langugage processing system which helps in identifying errors in your writing and give you suggestions.

This plugin is meant and developed for WordPress + TinyMCE combination. You can expect lesser errors.

Well recently Automattic founders of the famous bloging system WordPress acquired it.
