PHP Snippet: Convert lower case letters to uppercase and vice versa

This code snippet will help you to convert a text into lower case letter or uppercase letter.
Take a new php document and save it as textcase.php or anything you like.
Now you need to create two php functions.
1. Uppercase – This function converts all text to uppercase letters.
2. Lowercase – This function converts all text to lowercase letters.

It was a dark day all over india from past two days after a missing and crucial death of Y.S Rajashekar Reedy who was a chief minister of andhra pradesh.
On 2nd September 2009 @ 8.30 AM [IST] the helicopter carrying YSR and his colleagues lost their signals with the base station on Wednesday. As YSR didn’t arrive to the destination a search team was formed to find them. Due to a very bad whether it was very difficult to find them. Later after more than 22hrs of searching they informed that they could see the copter which might be hit or landed safe. After few hours on Thursday the team said the chopper was crash landed and all were found dead. The death was very crucial. It was difficult to identify them.
