Killer Review of the Day: Free Games – Play Free Online games

I hope you must have read my previous Killer Review which I had posted 2 days back. Today I will be reviewing another awesome site named as Free Games. Don’t be amazed by just looking at its name. Yep, you read it right the sites name is as simple as Free Games. This is similar to our blog which sounds quite simple (Talk On Something). There are only few such sites with such a name which is quite easy to memorize. The owner of this domain is fortunate enough to get such a unique yet popular domain.

Why Choose Free Games ?

Don’t get the title of the question wrong. “Free Games” is not the common term which is normally used, but in this case its the domain name. There are thousands of online gaming sites. This is the same case where we can say that there are millions of site on the Internet around the globe. But remember each and every site is unique in itself. Same is the case here. The main aim of this site is to provide Free Games for users. This site also has some unique features within it. You will gradually get to know them once you read the entire review.

Detailed Review

Firstly talking about the template/design of the site. Personally I feel the current design is apt for the site. It suites well with the content. The logo is not so professional yet is eye catchy, because gaming sites need to have a fun/entertainment quotient. Professionalism would make it boring. The url’s are quite appropriate for SEO. They are quite clean & the search bots will love it. At first look I thought the Google ads were also some sort of Game banners. They are arranged so neatly that its hard to identify them. The placement is good too to achieve high CPM rates. They are not causing hindrances in the site loadings too, as we  know google ad servers are quite fast unlike many other Ad services. The only thing which bothered me is that there is no Favicon. Favicon is almost the identity of a site. I would suggest the owner/administrator of the site to add a favicon something related to the logo or the initials of the site. The most active section of the site is the Free Ben 10 Games. The rating system of the site is cool to give users a more detailed information about which game is the most liked & obviously the most played. There is a total of 158 games & the total no. of plays is more that 15 k. Thats quite a huge amount. The footer section can be improved either by changing the color of that particular section a bit OR by creating a separate division for it, so that it looks a bit arranged. Also the ads towards the footer end ( The 120*120 Ad Blocks ) are not well arranged. The traffic is less it seems by checking the rankings below & can the PR can be improved. Adding a Sitemap would help to increase the SEO power. So need to work on promoting the site.
