Today we pay TRIBUTE to Late Indira Gandhi who was a well known leader. This is her 25th Death Anniversary. She was also involved in the Independence of India along with Mahatma Gandhi. Well for us its a mixed feeling because of Halloween as well as the death anniversary of a great lady. So I confused whether to be happy or to be sad :|

A short Biography Of Indira Gandhi

Indira Priyadarshini Gandhi commonly known to everyone as Indira Gandhi was born in 19th November 1917. She was the daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru & Kamala Nehru.

She spent her childhood days in Anand Bhavan where the whole Nehru family was residing. She grew more patriotic day by day because at those days India was ruled by the british people. Then in her tender years , her grandfather Motilal Nehru whom she was so closed to, passed away. Her heart was badly broken at that moment. At that time her father Jawaharlal Nehru used to send letters to her from jail. These letters kept her in touch with her father.
