Microsoft OR Google To Strike A Deal With Both Twitter & Facebook

The hottest news which is currently heating up is the Microsoft – Twitter deal through Bing , but did you know about Microsoft – Facebook deal too through the same Bing ? Yes , thats the news which is rising now. Microsoft is soon going to announce separate but nonexclusive deals with both Twitter & Facebook to integrate their real-time feeds of status updates into Bing Search ; the newer version of Live.

Well as all know Facebook is ranks 2nd , right after Google which is dominant at the first position. So definitely it receives more traffic & status updates as compared to Twitter. Also Facebook has stated that it has 40 Million updates per day on average from its 300 Million+ users.

Now the interesting part is that Twitter has also approached Google regarding the same thing as with Microsoft , but now Facebook also has approached Google. But if Bing gets the deal then it can surely give a tough fight to Google due to the enormous number of status updates from two of the most popular Social – Networking sites, but this can happen only if Google does’nt get the deal :-)

Twitter has the feature of displaying its updates publicly by default , but users of Facebook may not want some of their updates to be displayed. So they will be getting an option to configure between Private & Public posts.

But all the above things will happen only when Microsoft OR Google will strike a deal with Twitter & Facebook. Microsoft has announced that it will make the official statement about the deal at the Web 2.0 Summit. But still there is no official statement from Google.

Here is the Twitter Search provided by Bing on its sub directory which is in Beta stage & you won’t be getting the results just the tags are displayed ,
