“You may know these people” – YouTube helps you to find friends

September 10th, 2009 by Raghunath J Leave a reply »

Yesterday the YouTube guys announced that they will be launching a new system that can suggest people you know on YouTube.

Well there will be a suggestion box which suggest people you might know ( well it may not be 100% sure) but it works like if you have your own channel or a gmail account then the system will gather few information and find people in those channels. Well you must be logged into youtube to make this feature work.

The team says they will be bringing it live very soon. Hope i find all my orkut friends who share videos. We can reduce searching for our friends Channels on the tube :P

Well Privacy does matter here, so that we can be sure that a stranger is not behind us watching us secretly. There will be Privacy setting in our channel to set like who acctually can find you.

Now YouTube jsut wont broadcast your videos but fetches your friends :D chow
